Regarding Error CE-34878-0

If you're playing on the PlayStation 4 and have encountered an error message that reads CE-34878-0, you've come to the right place!

CE-34878-0 is actually code for "a general error has occurred" and doesn't tell us anything specific about the problem. The good news is that in most cases, you'll be able to restart the game and continue where you left off without any further issues. It was just a random error.

However, if you're finding that it happens often, and at the same point in your game:

The first thing to do when running into this error message is to select “Report Problem,” and be sure to check the “Attach Screenshot and Video Clip” box on the system error page on your PS4. These reports actually get sent to us, as the developer, and they're a very useful resource for learning that our player has had an issue. Adding a comment mentioning the action that you were performing prior to the screen appearing is also helpful in us diagnosing your issue... and please provide your email address so that we can get in touch with you if we need to.

If you continue to receive the CE-34878-0 error, there are some other steps you can take that may resolve the issue.

1) Restart your console:
* Turn off your console and then turn it back on.

2) Ensure you are running the latest version of the game:
* Go to the PlayStation home screen.
* Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
* Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.

3) Ensure your PS4's system software is up to date:
* Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
* Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
* Reboot your PlayStation 4.

4) Clear your PS4's cache:

* Go to the PlayStation home screen.

* Select "Power" and then "Power Options

* Select "Turn Off PS4"

* Wait for the light on top of the console to stop blinking

* Unplug the power cable

* Wait 2-3 minutes

* Plug the power cable back in and turn the console on

If you are still experiencing the issues after trying the steps above, contact support with as much information as you have regarding when the problem occurs.
